Clearly Scoped Work, Honestly Priced
Three services — each with a defined scope and a price discussed before the work begins. Choose the one that fits your watch, or contact us and we will help you decide.
Back to HomeThe Kithwellp Method
Every service begins the same way: a conversation. We look at the piece, discuss what you have noticed, and give you a clear view of the work required. Scope and price are agreed in writing before anything is opened. If something unexpected comes to light during service, we contact you before proceeding. At completion you receive a written record that includes what was done and the timegrapher readings from regulated positions.

Applied Across All Services
Secure Storage
All pieces in our care are stored in a locked, humidity-controlled cabinet. We carry workshop insurance for items in our possession.
Timegrapher Regulation
Serviced movements are regulated on a multiposition timegrapher. Rate and amplitude are recorded and form part of the service record.
Ultrasonic Cleaning
Parts are cleaned in an ultrasonic bath with solutions appropriate to material type. No shortcuts with manual-only cleaning for movement components.
Correct Lubrication
Watchmaker-grade lubricants matched to movement age and caliber. Vintage movements receive oils appropriate to their design, not modern substitutes.
Written Records
Every completed service is documented. The handover record includes work performed, parts replaced, timegrapher readings, and service date.
Agreed Scope Only
Work beyond the agreed scope requires your explicit approval before proceeding. No surprises on the invoice.
