What You Can Expect at the Bench
Honest Assessment First
No work begins before we walk through what needs doing, why, and what it will cost. You leave the consultation knowing exactly what to expect.
One Watchmaker, Your Watch
Your piece is handled by a single craftsperson throughout, not passed between departments. That continuity shows in the result.
Plain Written Summaries
After service you receive a clear written record of findings and work performed — useful for insurance, valuation, or simply your own archive.
Respect for Patina
We do not buff away history. Surfaces are treated to the degree the owner wants, and we are frank about the difference between sympathetic care and over-restoration.
Bangkok's Old Quarter Location
Set on Charoen Krung Road in Bang Rak, the workshop is straightforward to reach by BTS, river ferry, or car — and drop-off by appointment keeps things unhurried.
Open Communication Throughout
If something unexpected comes up mid-service, we pause and contact you. Decisions about scope changes are always yours to make.
Bring Your Watch to the Bench
Whether it is a daily wearer that has lost a step, a vintage dial with a story to preserve, or an heirloom requiring extended care — send us a note and we will discuss it from there. No obligation to proceed, just a quiet conversation.
Before You Send Your Watch In
How long does a standard movement service take?
Most mechanical overhauls take between two and four weeks, depending on parts availability and the backlog at the bench. We discuss a realistic timeline before accepting the piece, so there are no surprises. Complex heritage restorations are scheduled individually and agreed in writing.
Do I need to book an appointment to drop off a watch?
Yes — drop-off by appointment keeps the initial consultation unhurried. You can reach us by phone or through the contact form below. Walk-in enquiries are welcome during workshop hours, though the watchmaker may be at the bench and unavailable immediately.
Can you service watches from any manufacturer?
We work on most Swiss and Japanese mechanical and automatic movements — from straightforward ETA-based calibers to more complex vintage and independent pieces. Certain heavily proprietary modern movements may be outside our scope, and we will tell you honestly if that is the case.
What does the dial and crystal restoration involve exactly?
The process depends entirely on the piece. Dials may be cleaned, stabilised, or have minor touch-ups applied where the original finish allows. Crystals are replaced with the correct material — acrylic for vintage watches, mineral or sapphire where appropriate. We discuss each option and its effect on the watch's character before proceeding.
How are prices determined for heritage restorations?
The ฿35,500 price is an entry point for full heritage restorations. Actual cost depends on complexity, the number of stages involved, and parts availability. After the initial assessment, a written scope and price are agreed before the work begins — nothing proceeds beyond that without your approval.
What happens to my personal information when I submit the form?
